christmas is over, i just realised that school IS reopening really soon. i am looking forward to it, to start studying again, and to attending lectures and everything again. christmas was fun; andy and i had a discussion as to who liked receiving and giving, and i guess i do like giving. i like finding a great present for someone and watching the person open the present. i like having christmas dinners and the pigging out. i love the feeling of love all around, and the trees and baubles and the smells of roasted turkey.

but now that that is all over, its time to think about the new year! 2008 went by in a flash, really. the start of the year, i learnt a lot of things about myself, about what i wanted to do with my life, and the things i am and am not suited for. i am thankful for everything that happened in 208, because it made me who i am now, at the end of the year.

and i think now my life has settled into a kind of routine, but i like that, somehow. i need to feel safe in my own comfort zone, instead of being unsure of what will happen everyday. i know i'd hate that. i like living in my own space too; and i like curling up with a good book.

i was going to say something, but i have forgotten it totally. gosh. another time, then.

OH i rmb now. Take Home Handyman is a new show coming out on travel and living in the new year (2 jan), and it features my favourite person on While You Were Out, a home makeover show - Andrew Dan-Jumbo - somehow its just sexy watching a tall nigerian guy with a british accent wearing a carpenter's tool belt and creating amazing furniture.
